Exit from Gaza

Dubya's Toilet Attendant, AKA S of S Condileezza Rice, has had a friendly chat with Mr Abbas and hey Presto! the Rafah border crossing with Egypt will be open for Palestinians to stream into Egypt and beyond.

The Gulf press is wide and deep in praise of the lady who has (apparently) interrupted her schedule for her onward march to the Far East ( no doubt to attend to Dubya's toilet needs) to fix up this deal. Meanwhile Israel will "look" at Gaza docks, the West Bank routes and re-opening the bombed out Gaza airport.

The F16's practice breaking the sound barrier and Sharon refuses to meet Abbas until he has removed every bomber and every bullet from Gaza - which Abbas says will lead to civil war...

Those guys in AIPAC must be jumpin' for joy.
